Innovation & Product Development
DeepBlue works with customers to turn specialized aquaculture, commercial fishing and marine requirements into practical products through product definition, engineering coordination, prototype development and manufacturing support.
What We Develop
We develop customer-specific equipment across the marine sectors we know best — from a single custom fitting to a full engineered assembly.
Aquaculture Equipment
Custom mooring components, feed barge fittings, net handling hardware and cage-system parts developed around site-specific loads and standards.
Commercial Fishing Equipment
Trawl hardware, ground gear, rockhoppers and deck fittings developed around vessel geometry, target species and operating depth.
Smart & Electromechanical Equipment
Sensor-integrated hardware, actuated components and monitoring assemblies combining mechanical strength with control and data capability.
Custom Marine Hardware
Purpose-built shackles, links, connectors and structural fittings sized to non-standard loads, interfaces and certification requirements.
Representative capability areas — illustrations to be replaced with approved project photography.
A Six-Step Development Process
From an operational need to controlled production — a structured, engineering-led path that de-risks custom equipment before it reaches your site.
Operational Need
We start from the real operating problem — the load, the environment, the failure mode, the handling constraint — not from a catalogue.
Technical Definition
Requirements are translated into a technical specification: dimensions, loads, materials, standards and acceptance criteria.
Engineering & Supplier Coordination
We coordinate engineering resources and qualified manufacturers, matching process capability to each component.
Prototype Development
First-off parts and assemblies are built, reviewed and iterated against the specification and real-world fit.
Testing & Validation
Testing requirements are defined for each project. Validation may include dimensional inspection, functional testing, load testing and documentation review, depending on the agreed scope.
Controlled Production & Delivery
Validated designs move into controlled production with documented QC, traceability and delivery coordination.
Selected Development Projects
Products under development appear here as Innovation Projects until they are production-ready and join our mature commercial catalogue. Project details are drafts pending confirmation.

Testing & Validation
Testing requirements are defined for each product and project. Depending on the agreed scope, validation may include dimensional inspection, functional testing, load testing and review of supporting documentation.
Project-Specific Test Plans
Testing requirements are defined per product and project scope, not assumed from a standard multiplier.
Dimensional Inspection
Critical dimensions and interfaces are verified against the approved drawing where agreed.
Functional & Load Testing
Functional and load testing carried out where agreed in the project scope.
Documentation Review
Material certificates, test records and traceability reviewed per project requirements.
Confidentiality & Clear Ownership Agreements
Confidentiality, tooling ownership and rights to project-specific developments are agreed in writing before work begins.
NDA Available on Request
A mutual NDA can be arranged where required before technical details are shared.
Tooling Ownership
Ownership of dedicated tooling is defined in writing per project, not assumed.
Project-Specific Rights
Rights to project-specific developments are agreed before work begins; existing technology and jointly developed IP are addressed case by case.
